Description

We are looking for a motivated BD Associate to support our copper mining division by driving new business opportunities and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will be sales-focused with a strong technical understanding of the copper mining industry, capable of engaging clients in meaningful conversations about our technology and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Client Outreach: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients to introduce our solutions.
• Sales Process Management: Guide leads through the sales funnel, from initial outreach to closing deals.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions.
• Technical Conversations: Communicate effectively with copper mining professionals, translating technical product benefits into real-world applications.
• Coordination with BD Team: Work closely with the Senior BD Manager to ensure seamless lead handovers and sales execution.
• CRM & Data Management: Use HubSpot to track leads, update client interactions, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, geology, or a related field preferred.
• Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role in the copper mining sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with copper mining operations and technology is a plus.
• Sales Skills: Strong ability to identify and research potential customers, develop sales strategies, and implement solutions.
• CRM Experience: Experience with Hubspot, or similar CRM platforms for lead tracking and sales management.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-Starter: Proactive, goal-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
